Here are some examples of level 2 rides we offer, these rides range in distance from 10 to 20 miles and take one to two hours or so. The routes can be done by almost any bike types as we’ll ride on a variety of surfaces. We stop along the way for water etc and normally head for a drink in the Gay Village after.
Details of our rides can be found on spond or in our calendar below.
Manchester Waterways

Heading north out of the City we’ll travel up the Rochdale Canal to the Etihad stadium, then head towards Salford before returning back to Manchester via the Irwell River.
Two Canals

Heading out of the City along the Canal we’ll join National Cycle Route 60 for mostly traffic free riding all the way to Manchester United’s stadium, before cycling back to the Gay Village along the Bridgewater and Rochdale Canals.
Salford Quays and Canals

Cycle to Salford Quays then on to Eccles before heading back to Manchester’s Gay Village.
Nob End Locks

A real favourite in the group, this mostly off road ride to Nob End Locks takes in some woodland, canals and the infamous Meccano Bridge
